The Challenge
The VAT rules for yacht charters across EU countries lived in a dense, hard-to-navigate reference (the "VAT Smartbook"). Charter operators and fiscal representatives needed answers quickly and on the move, but the existing format made it slow to find country-specific guidance and easy to miss regulatory updates.
Our Solution
We designed and built a native-feeling iOS & Android app that restructures the Smartbook into clear, searchable content. We focused on readability for daily use, structured navigation by country and topic, user profiles, and a content model that lets the SOS Yachting team keep guidance up to date. We continue to support and evolve the product as a technical partner.
